Result: Won
The final game for the U13 team was at home against Spalding Grammar School. It was decided to play a 12-a-side pairs game to give everyone a bat and bowl in their final game.
We batted first and things looked good as Max smashed the first ball of the match to the square leg boundary for 4. Max and Charles added 29 in their 3 overs, followed by 14 for Will C and Charlie and 23 for Will C and Sophie and 22 for Aydin and Toby, including the only 6 of the game from Aydin. Wilf and Amelia added 17 before Jenson and Euan had a bit of a hick-up when their bowler got a hat-trick against them. We finished on 207 (having started on 100).
When we bowled it soon became clear that we were the stronger team. We picked up 14 wickets whilst not conceding a single boundary. Pick of the bowlers were Wilf, Toby, Will C and Charlie as Spalding finished on 77.
