Match Report
Six of the Softball players travelled to Stamford for a friendly fixture. With Stamford only having five players we decided to play pairs with everyone else in the field, making the competition “the pair with the highest innings wins”!
There was strong competition from all the batting pairs, lots of success finding the boundary and a six from the Stamford players. Great fielding skills seen by all the girls, supporting and backing up each other in the field.
Winners of the batting pair with 59 runs in four overs were Tabitha and Gemma, both striking balls to the boundary but also great communication on sneaky runs from a misfield or clocking up extra runs on a wide. Really well played ladies, great to see you applying tactics to the game.
