Match Report:

Result: Won 203/91

Jemima captained the team today and after winning the toss opted to field first. The team worked well as a collective in the field communicating well covering the gaps and backing each other up which was fantastic to see. Jemima, Alicia, Kitty and Isla all take a wicket. Tabby, Meg and Kitty catching an out in the field! Bowling from all the girls was very impressive keeping Witham down to 91 runs after four overs per pair.
Next up to Bat St Hugh’s and the girls went out with determination, first pair Gemma and Megan got off to a great start communicating well and hitting several fours finishing on 50 runs! This set a target for the other pairs and saw great innings from all the players, Jemima, Tabby both hitting a six. Every pair successfully finding  the boundary for a four!.
Witham didn’t let St Hugh’s have it all their way, taking several wickets and catching out on balls hit high.
St Hugh’s working effectively as a team both in field and Batting saw them push away with the win!
