Match Report
Result: U13 A: L4-0
The U13A boys travelled away to Stamford for their first game of the season. Despite the cold weather the pitch was fine to play. We started with Ted in goal, defenders of Maxwell and Jenson, the wingers were Aydin and Rupert. Charlie and Will L were in the middle of the park and Wilf was our utility player.
The game started frantically from both sides. Aydin impressed on the right wing but there was little time on the ball. Stamford scored twice in the first half as our defence was zonal rather man to man. In the second half, the game was more even and it looked like it would remain without a score until they got two right at the end. The final score was 4-0. Man of the Match was Aydin. We’ll look at our structure and defensive play before the next fixture.
