U9 Girls’ Hockey v Burton Hathow (H) 2.15pm
Burton Hathow are only able to bring one team. If you daughter is not involved in this match, she will be playing in an intra-school triangular fixture with her peers on the other half of the astro. You are very welcome to come along and spectate. 2.15pm start and 3.30pm finish.

Result: 2-0 L
The girls welcomed Burton Hathow for their first match of the season. The team took on two mixed ability and gender teams. It was great to see the progress of individual skills and team play in training and from last year. In games sessions, we have been working hard on stopping the ball and finding the space. It was great to see them using the width of the pitch and communicating with each other. The girls are beginning to find positions that they are stronger at and we look forward to developing this further. St Hugh’s had some super moments of play and all players contributed to the game. A fantastic start to the season and an exciting few weeks ahead. Well done to Sophia for getting opposition player of the match.
