Match Report
The U9 girls took to the pitch at Horncastle for a fantastic intra-school hockey match full of energy, teamwork, and determination. Every player put in a huge amount of effort, and it really showed in the quality of the game.
Defensively, the girls were outstanding – working hard to win back the ball and clear it up the pitch. The team showed real resilience, staying focused and engaged throughout the match.
In attack, we were equally impressed. The girls pushed forward with great intent, and it was brilliant to see some of the skills and drills practised in training come to life during the game. Their passing and positioning really helped open up space and create opportunities in the final third.
We had some fantastic goal scorers too, with 4 well-deserved goals that helped us finish the match with an exciting 2-2 draw. A huge well done to all the girls – you should be really proud of your performance!
