U9 Mixed Cricket v Grantham (A)

Match Report

Result: Lost

We travelled to Grantham on Wednesday afternoon, it was a lovely afternoon weather wise. The team tried a new type of cricket called dynamos cricket which is very similar to what they have been playing. We started off batting - unfortunately the match didn’t start off well with a few wickets being taken. However, the team started getting a bit more confident and started getting runs. It was now time to field and they started off ok with a few boundaries but a couple of wickets being taken. Their fielding got better and better throughout the innings as their understanding about the free hits increased with some great teamwork in stopping a couple of boundaries. A good afternoon of teamwork.
