Match Report
In our final game of the season we played a very competitive couple of games against two useful Highfields teams. We played touch rugby this time and the pupils adapted well to this slight change to our usual tag games. There was some good running with the ball and jinking runs resulting in some impressive tries for both sides. This was typical of our season which had seen some great improvements in our handling skills and speed in moving up the field. Although we passed well at times there was also scope for more fluent passing moves, and again, this was symptomatic of our season as a whole. Next year, the Year 4s will play the contact form of the game much more; they are more than ready for it, and I am sure that they will continue to impress with their enthusiasm and energy. I have been extremely impressed by the Year 3s this term; they have made brilliant progress, with many of them not having played the game before. Well done boys on a fantastic season!
