Result: Won 197 to 144
Team 2 travelled to Burton Hathow for a 5 pairs game of cricket. Each pair received 3 overs when batting.
Our first pair of Sienna and Lana scored -3 with Lana hitting a mighty 4.
The second pair of George and Edward scored 38 with George hitting 4s and even a 6!
Bonnie and Beatrix were next in and scored 11, with Bonnie hitting a 4.
Niya and Hailey scored 14 runs, with Niya getting a 4. Emelia and Maya were our final pair and they scored well gaining 37 runs in 3 overs with lots of 4s from Maya.
After a quick water break on a hot afternoon we went out to bowl and field. Under the Captainship of George and well supported by Bonnie we bowled and fielded well.
George took a wicket with his second ball and Maya was very economical. Emelia also got an impressive wicket maiden. Final score was Burton Hathow 144, St. Hugh’s 197.
