Witham Hall Invitational Cross Country (A) 2.25pm

Please see downloads for TEAM SHEET.  This race is for U9 and U11 only (as opposed to Year groups) so I am not in a position to take everyone who competed last week I am afraid.

It was another great performance by the St Hugh’s Cross Country team on Wednesday. WItham Hall always put on a great event and we were once again very well supported by our parent body! 

Every runner worked hard around the course and it was lovely to see them supporting one another when they were not running. 

With four runners to count, competition amongst our own pupils was rife! Some individuals were fighting for a medal position (top 6) and others were battling hard to contribute team points by finishing in the top four for St Hugh’s.

Huge congratulations to our medal winners this week for their performance in a very competitive field:

• Harriet T - 2nd Place (U9 Girls)
• Beau BW - 6th Place (U9 Boys)
• James F - 6th Place (U11 Boys)
• Charlotte J - 2nd Place (U11 Girls)

Other top 10 finishers included Faith Sleight (U9 Girls), Giovanni and Edward R (U9 Boys), Penelope L, a year young (U11 Girls) and Rory P, also a year young (U11 Boys). There were many others finishing soon after which gave St Hugh’s some great overall scores, leading to us placing in every category. Well done to all competitors. Team results can be seen below. 

We look forward to our next event at Highfields on Thursday 16th November! We may see a change in the conditions following two beautiful mild sunny afternoons!
