Arranging a Visit

We strongly believe that the best way to get a feel for our School and Nursery is to come and visit us.

We welcome the opportunity for you and your family to meet with our Headmaster, Mr Wyld, see our facilities and talk to our current pupils. This gives you the opportunity to explore what St Hugh’s can offer you.

We believe it’s very important for all prospective pupils to spend a day visiting St. Hugh’s prior to joining the school. This helps them become familiar with St Hugh’s, ensuring they already feel at home when they start with us.

We operate a non-selective entrance policy, meaning there are no entrance examinations and we welcome enrolments from students across a range of abilities.

However, during their visit, prospective pupils are assessed through a combination of informal and/or formal testing. We do reserve the right to decline a place, if in the opinion of the Headmaster the pupil is unlikely to benefit from an education at St. Hugh’s or contribute positively to the school community.
