Parent Communication

Where ever possible we try to pass on information face to face or by telephone. However that is not always possible and so we use a range of other methods to get information to parents promptly.

Email

Much of the information we now send out is via email. This includes details of forthcoming trips and any changes to the published calendar.

Text

Any urgent information is also sent out via text to relevant mobile numbers.

Website

Regular updates of news items and events will be posted on the school's website together with team lists and match reports.

Social Media

Follow us on Twitter @sthughslincs and Facebook @sthughslincs for the very latest events.

Circulars

The Headmaster sends out a letter covering relevant issues to all parents at the beginning and end of term. Other letters may also be sent out on an ad hoc basis such as when there any planned staff changes. The PrePrep department also sends out a newsletter every half term detailing the topics for that half term and any events which parents may like to attend such as class assemblies.

Parent Information Booklet

Information booklets are sent out to parents at certain points in their time at St. Hugh's.

Booklet for new parents and when moving from Year 2 into Year 3

Noticeboards

There are several noticeboards around the school for certain information

Team lists can be found outside the pavilion, outside the library and outside West corridor

Parents' Association noticeboard is on West Corridor

Class noticeboards outside the Nursery, Reception and Years 1 and 2

Termly calendar

A termly calendar is sent home at the end of each term and can also be found on the school website.
