Boarding House News - Week 7

Our weekly Boarding House Newsletter for the week commencing Monday 31st October...

We are back and the countdown to Christmas has begun! We are delighted to have a busy house again following the Half Term break.

What better way to kick start this half of term, being able to celebrate Halloween and Bonfire night all in one week.

On Monday evening our boarders enjoyed a night of trick or treating followed by a fruit platter spooky style. Discussions have already taken place on how we can celebrate Halloween next year. It is great to have pupil involvement with the future planning of the boarding events; watch this spooky space!

On Tuesday our boarders got creative with fruit and made some interesting concoctions. Some smoothies definitely tasting and looking better than others! On Thursday evening, boarders enjoyed hot dogs and fireworks. Next year we will look at possibly attending the firework display/event at Tattershall Farm Park.

Coming back after two weeks of Holiday is always tough but, I am incredibly proud of all our boarders in how they have stepped straight back into the swing of things. Every week we are seeing new faces which our weekly boarders and I are delighted with. We really hope they do have a lovely experience.

Key dates this term (which need booking in advance):

  • 5th December – Christmas Decorating
  • 13th December – Kinema Trip (Film TBC – Christmas Theme)
