Christmas Festivities Begin

Last night saw our boarders enjoying the annual Christmas decorations evening. They started the evening with dressing up in their Christmas clothes and decorating the boarding house. Our senior children had responsibility for organising all the pre-prep decorations and putting them onto the main Christmas tree.

They wrapped up warm after tea and headed out to visit one of our local care homes to sing some Christmas carols. They also dropped off 15 of our shoe boxes and mince pies for all to enjoy. Continuing with the Christmas spirit, they headed into the village and sang songs outside different locations, including some of our own pupils' houses.

They looked forward to arriving back at school to enjoy a warm shower, a cup of hot chocolate and some delicious biscuits, made by our wonderful kitchen staff. They snuggled down to a festive film and enjoyed the rest of the evening together.

There are still many shoeboxes and Christmas bags to hand out to our local care homes over the coming weeks. Thank you so much for everyone's kind and generous donations. It was very heartwarming to see all the gifts being handed over last night!

Thank you to everyone who was involved during the evening. Merry Christmas from everyone in the Boarding House!
