County Hockey Champions

The U11A girls' hockey team were delighted to win the County Final by beating Lincoln Minster on Wednesday afternoon.  Following their success at the recent Stamford Festival, the team were looking forward to getting back on the pitch and were excited to be playing on home soil!  Jasmine captained the team this week and it was a real team effort.  The girls led after the first half and although LMS came back stronger, St Hugh's managed to create further attacking opportunities to win the game 4-1.  Goals this week came from Penny (3) who was also named player of the match and Jasmine (1). We wish the team success on Friday when they travel to Nottingham to play in the IAPS regional round.  Well done to all players.
