Design Competition Winner

Congratulations to Freddie for coming runner up in a national competition to design a teenager's lunchbox.

Years 7 and 8 were all set the challenge to enter a national design competition run by Black+Blum – an award winning company focusing on innovative, aesthetically appealing and sustainable products in the 'food and drink on-the-go' sector. The brief asked pupils to come up with a design that would appeal to the teenage market. As a global company with products sold in over 60 countries, it is a huge achievement that Freddie's design idea caught the eye of the competition judges.

Freddie's response to the design brief included, market research, a mood board, TinkerCad drawing as well as a cardboard prototype.

As part of his prize, Freddie has won a Black+Blum lunchbox and water bottle.
