A Year 4 and 5 team travelled to Norwich on Monday to compete in the East Area Athletics Competition, held at the University of East Anglia. This is always a popular event with pupils having the opportunity to compete on a tartan track.  Despite the long journey, the pupils were a real credit to the school and represented St Hugh's extremely well. 

There were some outstanding performances both on the track and field, with a large number of pupils qualifying for finals from their heat.  It was super to have some Year 3 pupils competing a year young and holding their own against pupils a year older - we will be watching out for them next year!  In the 4x100m Relays St Hugh's looked strong across the board with every team achieving a podium finish!

Well done to all competitors and congratulations to those who achieved 1st, 2nd or 3rd in a Final (below).  Please note official results are yet to be confirmed.
