Grade 4 Cello Success

Congratulations to Daniel for achieving his Grade 4 Cello with Merit from Trinity College London.

COVID19 restrictions have presented numerous challenges but Daniel hasn’t let that stop him. Having achieved Grade 1 Cello, he went straight on to Grade 4 having waited to sit his exam through lockdown and impressing his music tutor, Mrs Hill.

Throughout home-schooling, Daniel had weekly online music lessons in preparation for submitting his final exam in the form of a video of himself playing his chosen pieces.

Reflecting on his achievement, Daniel said, “I enjoy playing and it’s fun learning new pieces, listening to a CD as I practise”.

Daniel should be extremely proud of his efforts and we wish him luck as he is already working towards his Grade 5.
