IAPS Virtual Sports Championships
As inter-school matches are unable to take place IAPS, the Independent Association of Prep Schools, are holding the IAPS Virtual Sports Championships and St Hugh’s is one of 34 schools to have signed up for them
The autumn virtual championships include the following sports with five activities for each one:
- Hockey - Paired “keepie uppies”, Hockey skittles, Hit the post from the penalty stroke spot, Speed dribbling, Penalty strokes into a target
- Football – Crossbar challenge, Throw in challenge, Volleying in pairs, Sitting “keepie uppies”, Dribbling challenge
- Gymnastics - Plank challenge, Forward roll challenge, Bounce about, Handstand challenge, Catch and clap
- Health & Wellbeing - Burpee challenge, Star jump challenge, Balance challenge, Step ups, Around the world.
We will continue with our Intra- school hockey and rugby leagues for the next few weeks and once these have finished pupils will move on to the challenges.
