Invasion!

Years 3 & 4 were transported back in time to the Viking Age thanks to their guest, Bjorn, from Portals to the Past.

Throughout the Viking Day Workshop they looked at artefacts, took part in quizzes, heard stories and learnt how to play a Viking board game called Hnefatafl (which translated means The King’s Table). A highlight of the day had to be the re-enactment of a Viking battle when everyone was eager to get into character! The day was made complete with a spear throwing competition.
