Learning about Islam
As part of their studies on Islam, Year 6 enjoyed a visit to the Faizan-e-Madina Masjid mosque in Peterborough. They were amazed by the size and beauty of it and had a tour by Hafiz the Imam. He explained some of the key principals of Islam and showed them the main features of the mosque such as the Wudu room for washing and the Prayer hall with the Mihrab and Minbar.
