Paris in Five Days

Last week, our Year 7 pupils left the school bright and (very) early on Monday heading for Paris with Mr Jeffery, Mr McDonnell and Mme Clayton. Our five day visit was extremely busy and we were back on Friday evening with (tired) heads full of memories and bags full of  souvenirs.

We wandered around Montmartre admiring the artists at work whilst eating delicious pancakes, we marvelled at the Eiffel Tower and jumped on its glass floor, polished our history in Les Invalides and the crypt of Notre Dame, waved at Parisians from our boat on the Seine, lost our way in the immense Louvre and are still wondering what the Mona Lisa is smiling at, admired the giant stained glass windows in Notre Dame, had a treasure hunt in the Jardins des Tuileries whilst dodging the pigeons, sang  ‘aux Champs Elysées’ on our favourite avenue, walked out on to the pitch at Stade de France and spent all our euros in all the shops we came across.

AND to top it all, we had fantastic weather!
