Pheasant Lunch

It may be wild, wet and windy today but that hasn’t stopped our intrepid Year 4 pupils and Mrs Sinnott from cooking their lunch in the woods. Thanks to a generous parent the pupils have plucked and dressed pheasants and partridges and chopped up vegetables to accompany them. The partridges started off in a fire pit and were finished on the fire whilst the pheasants simmered (quite quickly!) in a casserole on top of the fire.

Everyone agreed that it was a very tasty lunch.
