Welcome to St. Hugh's Preparatory School
Located in the picturesque village of Woodhall Spa in Lincolnshire, we are a co-educational preparatory school offering both day and boarding options.
With exceptional facilities and an outstanding academic record, we provide a happy, inclusive and stimulating learning environment for children aged 2-13 from a broad catchment area and a wide range of backgrounds.
Where tradition meets innovation
At St Hugh’s, we’re justly proud of our traditional values of honesty, independence, hard work and courtesy. Consideration for others and a spirit of service are all part of the St Hugh’s experience.
Despite our traditional character, St Hugh’s is a forward-thinking school. We aim to prepare our pupils for the challenges of living, working and making a positive difference in today’s society.
First class facilities
Our school boasts outstanding facilities, including spacious, modern teaching rooms, the latest ICT equipment, an extensive library and a superbly-equipped music school with auditorium.
Sporting achievement is high on our agenda, and our facilities include an indoor, heated swimming pool and extensive sports pitches.
Developing their potential
We achieve outstanding academic results. Why? We attract the finest teaching talent from around the country, and our broad, stimulating curriculum is second to none. We believe in nurturing all our pupils’ talents, wherever they lie, and we provide a happy, caring environment, in which all children are encouraged to work hard and fulfil their potential.
The outcome is a strong track record of achievement, in which no child is left behind.
SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARIES
At St Hugh’s, we’re very proud of our Scholarship scheme. We offer scholarships to pupils joining Year 7, which will be available for the duration of the child’s time at St. Hugh’s i.e. for Year 7 and for Year 8.
