Mental Health Support

Mrs Bernie Costello and Mrs Flora Bonner-Mackenzie have both completed a Certificate in Youth Mental Health First Aid. The course teaches the skills and confidence to spot signs and symptoms of mental health issues in a young person. It also covers how to offer first aid and help guide them towards the support they need.

Headmaster, Jeremy Wyld, said: “I am delighted that Mrs Costello and Mrs Bonner-Mackenzie have chosen to develop their knowledge of this vital aspect of education. These skills will enhance the pastoral care on offer at St. Hugh’s and they should be proud of their achievements."
