Shadowing Carnegie

Mrs Bonner-MacKenzie has put together a book group of seven pupils across Years 5, 6 and 7 to shadow this year’s Carnegie Medal awards. The Carnegie Medal is awarded by children's librarians for an outstanding book written in English for children and young people. The shortlist was announced on Thursday 15th March and the group is now making their way through the eight shortlisted books. They will be meeting on a weekly basis to discuss ideas and any issues raised by these often challenging reads.
