On Wednesday we travelled to Market Rasen to play against De Aston. The weather conditions weren’t great because the wind was making the game very hard.

We started well with Jack C scoring the first try of the game. Harry S ran around De Aston’s defence and put the ball down over the line. Unfortunately, De Aston managed to score a try. We had lots of handling errors due to the weather. However, Charlie H succeeded to slip around the opposition and score a try.

At half time the score was 3-1 to us. We had an exceptional team talk with Mr Sinnott at half time.

We came on the pitch feeling strong. Unluckily they scored another try. We kept working hard in both attack and defence.

Near the end of the match, Ben sprinted round them making the score 4-2.

End score was 4-2 to St Hugh’s.

Man of the match goes to Harry S for the great effort and the amazing try.
